Louise Munson

LOUISE MUNSON grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. She is a recipient of the Max K. Lerner Playwriting Fellowship, the 2013 Walter E. Dakin Fellowship at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and was a Liam Rector Scholar in Fiction at Bennington College. Her work has been profiled in Salon, HuffPost, New York Theater Review, Brooklyn Rail, among others. Plays produced: Penelope, Goodbye to All That, Do Like the Kids Do, Montana (IAMA Theatre Company). Do Like the Kids Do had a second limited run in NY at the Studio Theater on Theater Row. Her full-length Luigi received it’s world premiere at Inkwell Theater Company last summer. It was developed with the generous support of Inkwell Theater Company’s Development LAB. Louise is a founding member of IAMA Theatre Company, where she started off on stage, playing Katie in IAMA’s production of Leslye Headland’s Bachelorette.
